Catholic Charities of East Tennessee (CCETN) is a compassionate, mission-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming lives and communities throughout East Tennessee. Inspired by Catholic social teaching, our work is rooted in faith, dignity, respect, and justice. We provide comprehensive services to individuals and families facing life’s most challenging moments, offering support in areas such as emergency assistance, housing, counseling, adoption, immigration, and senior care. Founded in 1989 and currently employing 6-200 people, CCETN operates from its headquarters in Knoxville, Tennessee, and serves 36 counties. Following a devastating fire in 2021, the organization rebuilt its Knoxville office, reaffirming its commitment to serving East Tennessee’s most vulnerable with unwavering faith and resilience. We empower thousands annually to overcome adversity and achieve greater stability and independence, fostering sustainable change and building inclusive communities. CCETN is a 501(c)(3) organization, and donations are tax-deductible.
