Children’s Law Center is a Winston Salem, North Carolina-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality legal advocacy for children facing domestic violence and high-conflict custody cases, as well as ensuring their rights within the public education system.

We champion the best interests of vulnerable children through a multifaceted approach, offering crucial support in court proceedings and advocating for their needs with a deep understanding of legal and educational systems.

What distinguishes Children’s Law Center is our commitment to empowering children’s voices and fostering safer, brighter futures. Founded in 2005, we currently serve children in Forsyth and Guilford Counties, relying on a dedicated team of staff and volunteers.

Our Custody Advocacy Program (CAP) and Education Advocacy Program (EAP) provide vital resources and legal representation, while our immediate intervention resources offer critical support during challenging times. We are proud to be supported by a strong board of directors and a network of community partners.
