Choc Affair

Choc Affair is a proudly British, family-owned chocolate maker based in York, the historic home of chocolate. Established in 2006, we craft exquisite, handmade chocolate bars, hot chocolate, and bespoke private label chocolates with a commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainable practices. We work closely with independent farmers and cooperatives in Colombia, paying a premium for our cocoa to support local communities and ensure responsible farming. Our dedication to quality and community extends to our UK-based operations, where we source all our ingredients and packaging from local businesses. As a socially responsible business, we’ve been recognised with the York Press Business Awards for Socially Responsible Business of the Year. We’re passionate about creating delicious chocolate that brings joy and supports a better world, one bite at a time.
