The Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (FACDL) is the only statewide organization in Florida dedicated exclusively to the criminal defense bar. Established in 1988, FACDL serves as a vital resource for over 1,000 members – including private practitioners, public defenders, and law students – providing essential tools and support for effective criminal defense practice. We champion the constitutional rights of the accused, promote excellence in advocacy, and foster a strong, collaborative community of legal professionals across the state.
