Institute for Global Law and Policy at Harvard Law School

The Institute for Global Law and Policy at Harvard Law School is a pioneering hub for innovative global policy research and scholarship. Based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, we address the critical challenges of global poverty, conflict, injustice, and inequality through a collaborative faculty effort. We foster a dynamic community for young scholars and policymakers, providing a platform for new thinking about international legal and institutional arrangements, with a particular focus on the perspectives of the global South. Our work challenges existing legal and institutional regimes, seeking to understand and map the levers of global governance, and ultimately, to contribute to more just and equitable outcomes. We cultivate a global network of scholars and institutions, promoting collaborative research and fostering a creative dialogue on critical global issues.
