New Development Corporation

New Development Corporation is a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based nonprofit dedicated to empowering individuals with modest incomes to achieve homeownership and revitalize neighborhoods. We acquire and renovate distressed properties in the city, transforming them into affordable homes for qualified buyers. Complementing this, our GRHomeShare program connects existing homeowners with local residents seeking affordable housing solutions. For 28 years, New Development Corporation has been a vital force in the community, completing 62 houses and awarding 91 rehab grants, demonstrating a consistent commitment to neighborhood inclusion and sustainable housing practices. We provide comprehensive homebuyer education and resources, guiding clients through every step of the homeownership journey.
