Peer Court

Salt Lake Peer Court is a vital program of Utah Law Related Education, dedicated to diverting youth involved in minor offenses from the traditional juvenile justice system. Based in Salt Lake City, Utah, we provide a unique opportunity for young people to be held accountable for their actions through a peer-led court diversion program. Our approach focuses on restorative justice, community engagement, and mentorship, aiming to break cycles of poverty and build positive futures for youth and their families. We work collaboratively with local community agencies and volunteers to offer a supportive environment where youth can develop essential life skills and contribute positively to their neighborhoods.
