Overview
The Sandwich Deck is a beloved restaurant serving breakfast and lunch in downtown Anchorage, Alaska. For over 15 years, we’ve been a local favorite, offering a comforting menu of freshly prepared soups and handcrafted sandwiches. Our commitment to using fresh, locally sourced ingredients – including Alaskan salmon, halibut, and reindeer – ensures a unique and flavorful dining experience. We pride ourselves on our dedicated team, led by Founder & CEO Shane Rogers, a lifelong Alaskan with 20 years of experience in the restaurant industry, and Chef Jesse Vazquez, bringing 15 years of culinary expertise.
We’ve evolved from a playful nod to ‘Captain Cook’s Ship’ to a modern eatery, remodeled in 2017, continuing the tradition of serving quality meals to downtown workers and summer tourists.
Whether you’re craving a hearty breakfast with biscuits and gravy or a satisfying lunch with fresh salads and Alaskan specialties, The Sandwich Deck offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We accept both online and phone orders for convenient pick-up.
