The IIB's mission is to ensure that federal and state banking laws and regulations provide international banks operating in the United States with the same competitive opportunities as domestic banking organizations. Applying U.S. banking laws and regulations to the U.S. branches, agencies, securities affiliates and other operations of international banks is enormously complicated and can produce unintended adverse results. The IIB therefore carefully monitors legislative, regulatory and judicial developments at the federal and state level and advocates, as appropriate, to seek results that are consistent with the U.S. policy of national treatment and advancing the interests of its members. The IIB also seeks to ensure that the global operations of its member banks are not subject to unwarranted extraterritorial applications of U.S. laws. Founded in 1966, the IIB is the only national association devoted exclusively to representing and advancing the interests of internationally-headquartered banking/financial institutions operating in the United States. Its membership is comprised of internationally headquartered institutions from over 35 countries around the world. Collectively, the U.S. branches, agencies, banking subsidiaries, securities affiliates and other operations of the IIB's member banks are an important source of credit for U.S. borrowers and enhance the depth and liquidity of U.S. financial markets. IIB member banks also inject billions of dollars each year into the economies of major cities across the country through the direct employment of U.S. citizens and permanent residents, as well as through other operating and capital expenditures.

The Climate Safe Lending Network creates collaborative spaces that continuously and provocatively nudge the debate towards more progressive perspectives on climate safe lending practices based on scientific insight and genuine consideration of social equity. The Network convenes spaces for lending institutions and wider parts of the financial system – including investors, clients, regulators, policy makers, academics, and civil society organizations – to collectively align bank lending with climate safe scenarios that contain emissions to a 1.5℃ temperature increase and incorporate strategies for a socially equitable and just transition. The Climate Safe Lending Network runs a fellowship program for climate intrapreneurs from banks across the world, a policy initiative for regulatory intervention that encompasses both financial and planetary stability, and brings together diverse perspectives on climate strategies relevant for banks into publications, such as The Good Transition Plan launched at COP26.

For more than 130 years, Ohio bankers have built something bigger than competition. In the late 1800s, a small group of forward-thinking bankers recognized that while they competed in the marketplace, they shared common challenges and opportunities. By choosing collaboration over isolation, they laid the foundation for what is now the Ohio Bankers League — formerly the Ohio Bankers Association and the Ohio League of Financial Institutions. Today, the OBL serves as the unified voice of Ohio’s banking industry and remains the only statewide trade association dedicated exclusively to representing all banks and thrifts across the Buckeye State. For more than a century, the League has championed policies, partnerships, and professional development that strengthen both individual institutions and the industry as a whole. By connecting banks, bankers, and industry partners, and by leveraging shared expertise and resources, the OBL drives innovation, advocacy, and operational excellence. The nonprofit association represents 170 FDIC-insured financial institutions — including commercial banks, savings banks, and savings and loan associations — ranging in size from just over $13 million in assets to more than $3.5 trillion. That original spirit of cooperation still defines the League today. Each year, volunteer leaders, alongside a dedicated professional staff, deliver programs, insights, and services designed to help Ohio’s financial institutions operate smarter, compete stronger, and improve their bottom line.

HDC seeks to increase the supply of multi-family housing, stimulate economic growth and revitalize neighborhoods by financing the creation and preservation of affordable housing for low- , moderate- , and middle-income New Yorkers. In 1971, the New York State Legislature created the New York City Housing Development Corporation (HDC) as a supplementary and alternative means of supplying financing for affordable housing that was independent from the City's capital budget. At first HDC concentrated on providing financing for large-scale rental developments but now issues bonds and provides subsidy and low-cost loans to develop and preserve a variety of housing, ranging from large to small and rental and homeownership. The flexibility built into HDC’s authorizing statute allows it to amend its programs and goals in response to the changing economic climate. As a result, HDC has become the leading local housing finance agency in the nation, outperforming many of the nation’s largest banks in the volume and dollar amount of bonds issued. In the 2012 calendar year, HDC was ranked third nationally in Affordable Housing Finance magazine’s annual rating of the top issuers of multi-family bonds, having issued more than $1.8 billion in bonds; more than Bank of America Merrill Lynch, JP Morgan Chase and Capital One, among others. In addition, HDC has devoted more than $1.8 billion in direct subsidy from its corporate reserves to deepen affordability of the residential developments it supports. The Federal Home Loan Bank of New York (FHLBNY) is a privately-owned wholesale bank that helps community lenders in New Jersey, New York, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands advance housing and community growth. The FHLBNY membership is comprised of commercial banks, savings banks, savings and loans, credit unions, insurance companies and community development financial institutions. The FHLBNY is part of the Congressionally-chartered, nationwide Federal Home Loan Bank System, which was created in 1932 to provide a flexible liquidity source for member community lenders engaged in home mortgage and neighborhood lending. The mission of the FHLBNY is to advance housing opportunity and local community development by maximizing the capacity of community-based member lenders to serve their markets. Since the FHLBNY is a secured lender, all of its credit products require real estate related collateral. The FHLBNY enables local lenders to extend affordable credit to their communities. Thanks to the Federal Home Loan Bank System, communities across the country have access to more affordable housing, small business, and community development programs.

The Farm Credit Bank of Texas has been a leading source of credit and financial services for rural Americans for more than 100 years. Our long and successful history of financing agriculture and rural America is rooted in our cooperative structure and in other distinct business advantages: We are owned by our customers; therefore, we operate in their best interests and share our earnings with them in the form of patronage. We don't take deposits. Rather, we access the nation's money markets through the sale of AAA-rated Farm Credit bonds, which provides a reliable source of funding for rural Americans. Our policies are set by our board members, who are Farm Credit customers elected by their fellow customers. This form of governance offers transparency to our owners and investors. We are part of the Farm Credit System, the nation's single largest source of loans for agriculture, agribusiness, rural real estate and country homes. https://www.FarmCreditBank.com https://www.FindFarmCredit.com More job openings: https://www.farmcreditbank.com/careers

For almost 90 years, Financial Partners Credit Union has provided banking services to Californians. With generally lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and lower fees than the big banks, we emphasize value while delivering the highest levels of service to our members. What makes us different from a bank? Part of it is our not-for-profit, cooperative structure. Financial Partners is owned by our members, not Wall Street, so we’re committed to doing what’s best for you, rather than the bottom line. At the same time, we truly believe that focusing on service and member satisfaction is the right thing to do. Our members aren’t just figures on a balance sheet—our mission is to build lifetime financial partnerships. Since our humble beginnings, we're over $2.5 billion in assets, with 92,000 members, and branches across California, from South San Francisco to San Diego. But one thing hasn’t changed since eight aviation workers pooled $900 in 1937 to launch Financial Partners: our focus on saving money, making money, and saving time for our members.
