The Law Bridge is a Durham, North Carolina-based professional development organization dedicated to supporting new attorneys. We help legal organizations achieve higher retention rates for diverse new hires by providing training and resources. Through experience in law firms, government, and Fortune 100 companies, The Law Bridge brings training that can help all new attorneys not just survive, but thrive in their new profession.

Our services, such as ‘Survive and Thrive’ and ‘Prepare for Interviews and Meetings’, are designed to demystify the legal profession and provide a solid foundation for new attorneys. We focus on helping them navigate the culture and build confidence.

The Law Bridge was founded in 2021 by Krista Contino Saumby, a professional attorney educator with a J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh and a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Krista’s passion is to help first-generation law students navigate the new world of the legal profession, and she has a proven track record of success, including founding the Hispanic National Bar Association’s Intellectual Property Law Institute in 2012.
